It can be difficult to get a business started with all the overhead costs, risk factors, availability and time restraints. At The Nine Oh Six & Company we rent 6 additional rooms as incubators for small businesses. If we can provide a safe space to share knowledge and give these young entrepreneurs experience, they too can open their own shops one day! We offer discounted rent in exchange for working the shop a certain number of days a month. We collaborate by hosting parties, sharing each other’s pages, celebrating our wins, and supporting this incubator opportunity. We value community, collaboration, connection, mentorship, and a continued flow of creativity.

Lakyn—The Nine Oh Six
The Nine Oh Six is an accumulation of all my favorite things, vintage home décor, curated secondhand clothing, and handmade goods. We provide a sustainable, environmentally conscious way to decorate a home or spruce up a wardrobe. I personally hand pick or handmake every item we sell. Some handmade items you’ll find at our shop include quilted clothing such as jackets, pants, scrunchies and sunglass sleeves, quilt topper photo albums, ceramic earrings, denim jean purses, antique button magnets, hand poured candles in glass vessels, vintage bingo card notebooks, and so much more!
I understand not everyone who values curated home decor and style has the time or vision to find those essential items that make a space unique. Mass production has affected the way people value handmade and high-quality objects. I believe in the importance of slowing down, appreciating, and cultivating the individuality that makes a collection special. What was once a donated old velvet chair has now become another’s statement piece in their living room. I am captivated by finding new life, value, and potential in these discarded items. The Nine Oh Six exists not only to provide the customer with vintage and handmade items, but to help pull it all together in their own home by offering interior design services.
